Biography of Dr. Christina Tondora

Scottsdale Center for Natural Medicine is a comprehensive natural health center located in Scottsdale, AZ. SCNM offers a fully integrated menu of services for people seeking a natural approach to acute and chronic illness, or for those who simply want to improve their overall health and wellbeing. SCNM provides a caring environment where treatment protocols are based on each patient’s individual needs.

Scottsdale Center for Natural Medicine incorporates the philosophy and therapies of natural healing with modern diagnostic techniques. This approach allows us to provide a fully integrative system for creating optimum health and wellness. As a result, we have achieved significant clinical results using natural therapies for various chronic conditions. These conditions include, but are not limited to: women’s healthcare for menopause and natural hormone replacement therapy, treatment of chronic conditions including chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia syndrome, and Hepatitis C, adjunctive treatment for patients with cancer involving the latest oxidative and nutritional therapies, and cutting-edge therapies for chronic pain conditions, including pre and post-surgical protocols, and treatment for acute and chronic injuries.

The SCNM was founded in 1998 by Dr. Christina M. Tondora, a naturopathic physician, as a comprehensive healthcare clinic located in Scottsdale, AZ. Naturopathic doctors are the only primary care physicians who have both the training in biomedical and biochemical sciences and a thorough knowledge of natural therapeutics and preventive medicine. Dr. Tondora specializes in IV vitamin and oxidative therapies. Dr. Tondora also incorporates other naturopathic modalities including acupuncture, botanical medicine, chelation therapy, homeopathy, clinical nutritional consultations, detoxification programs and physical medicine.

Dr. Tondora is a licensed primary care physician in Arizona and Vermont. She has a multidisciplinary practice with emphasis on functional medicine and integrative, individualized treatment protocols. Dr. Tondora is a former Clinical Instructor of Naturopathic Medicine at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ, and is on the Clinical Faculty of Rainstar University in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Tondora is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), and is a former Vice-President of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AzNMA). She is a frequent lecturer on Naturopathic Medicine to both physicians and the general public. She has been named by Today’s Arizona Woman magazine as one of the top Naturopathic Physicians in Arizona for the past three years. Dr. Tondora graduated honors with distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. She graduated high academic honors from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine with a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine.
