Dr. Michael Cronin has been practicing Naturopathic medicine in Arizona since 1982. His practice in Scottsdale, Arizona includes family practice and environmental medicine but emphasizes pain and physical medicine. Dr. Cronin treats chronic pain with prolotherapy, Platelet injection therapy, manipulation and spinal decompression integrated into a naturopathic treatment program. Dr. Cronin works with his patients by listening intently to their health story. He knows that patients have an intrinsic sense about their health that is essential to designing a therapy program that addresses the cause of their problem in the most direct manner. Dr. Cronin has a hands-on approach that includes soft tissue work, spinal manipulation and injection therapy to align and stabilize the physical structure of the body. He uses diagnostic ultrasound to image musculoskeletal problems and provides ultrasound guided injections. Dr. Michael J. Cronin is a graduate of National College of Naturopathic Medicine class of 1980. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine integrated with Family Practice. Dr. Cronin is the founder of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and its president from 1992 to 1997. Dr. Cronin is a diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management and a board member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Naturopathic Academy of Therapeutic Injections. Medical Training - Dr. Cronin received the N.D. degree, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, in 1980 from National College of Naturopathic Medicine, the oldest naturopathic college in the US. He completed a residency in family practice/physical medicine at Portland Naturopathic Clinic. He received training in prolotherapy from the Naturopathic Academy of Therapeutic injections.
