Dr. Wilson has been working in healthcare for over 30 years. She did her internship year as an internal medicine hospitalist at Barrow Neurological Institute in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, and a post-doctorate at Harvard Medical School in global clinical research. Her current research endeavors include the therapeutic effect of the patient-doctor relationship, neuropsychotherapy, psychoneuroendocrinology, psychoneuroimmunology, and psychoneurogastroenterology. Dr. Wilson is also a nationally certified counselor, marriage and family therapist, addictions counselor, a myotherapist, and a trained midwife, and continues to use an integrative approach to patient care and counseling clients as well.
