Dr. Wilson has been working in healthcare for over 30 years. She did her internship year as an internal medicine hospitalist at Barrow Neurological Institute in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, and a post-doctorate at Harvard Medical School in global clinical research. Her current research endeavors include the therapeutic effect of the patient-doctor relationship, neuropsychotherapy, psychoneuroendocrinology, psychoneuroimmunology, and psychoneurogastroenterology. Dr. Wilson is also a nationally certified counselor and neuropsychotherapist for pediatrics and adults, a myotherapist, and a trained midwife, and continues to use an integrative approach to patient care and counseling clients as well. She is currently employed at VirtualWellness.Online in telehealth and telecounseling and as a college professor for medical and nursing courses.
